The MetalFab 800W is suitable for fabrication, repair, prototyping and production across a broad range of metals. Depending on the material, it can weld carbon and low-alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, nickel alloys and other supported metals.
The 800W system supports welding thicknesses of 0.2–4mm for carbon steel and stainless steel, 0.2–2mm for aluminium, and 0.2–4mm for titanium alloys.

Laser welding is a professional metalworking process, and the right configuration depends on your materials, thicknesses, production requirements, shielding gas and working environment. Our team can advise on the appropriate MetalFab setup, with installation, training and ongoing technical support available.
Important Safety & Installation Requirements:
The MetalFab 800W is a Class 4 laser system and requires appropriate laser safety controls, PPE and operating procedures. Shielding gas, such as argon or nitrogen, is also required for laser welding.
For European installations, the MetalFab 800W requires a 200–240V AC power supply, with 20A circuit protection and cable of at least 2.5mm². Electrical installation should be checked by a qualified electrician, and all applicable electrical and laser safety requirements must be observed.
